Winter Stars

I used winter-y fabrics to make this pattern from She Can Sew.  I'll update with the link when I find it.  I think it was one of her 3 yard quilts

Christmas Sewing

These scrappy runners turned out cute to give the neighbors for Christmas

I made some last minute small runners to give as Christmas gifts to neighbors, for Christmas Eve last year.

This is a Pillow Cover to fit the pillow I made with an Acorn Pillow Cover, that I gave to Karen a few years ago.

I made some labels to print out on fabric to place on the gifts.

Christmas Tree Pillow Cover.  Fits the pillow I made for the Fall Cats Sitting on Pillows Pillow Cover

I made this long ago and may duplicate  to some extent with scraps below.

Scraps I've had around forever.  May finally become a topper similar to one I made long ago, some day.

This was from the fun mystery quilt along from the Fat Quarter Shop last year

Oops, sewn wrong, but picked out and corrected later!

Fall Runner and projects

Fall Fun Quilts and Things in Progress

I have all these drafts of posts for things I was working on last year.  I'm going to just go ahead and publish them as they are.  I'll do better posts when I complete the projects.  Hopefully.

Making the Corner Square Triangles: Cut as shown

After you make the Corner Square Triangles, you will place them on the corners.

Laying out the blocks, including the Setting Triangles as well as the Corner Square Triangles

Cut from top left corner to bottom right corner to make the Setting Triangles that will be on the side.

Showing how to cut a Setting Triangle for the sides of the quilt.  You can also see the Corner Square Triangle which is on the top left corner.

In this picture you can see the other half of the Setting Triangle that I just cut and placed on the right side of the quilt

Retirement Quilt

Made with Hour Glass Blocks with Ocean Colors

I was going to include the cutting instructions but now it's been a while and I can't remember them.

At first I was going to make half quare triangle blocks but then switched.  You can see the quilt blocks for a 3rd Fall Quilt, I started last year.  I didn't finish any of them but will probably finish them this year (in the Fall).
