Birthday Gifts

Birthday Gifts for work friends.

One friend recently remodeled her kitchen.  She hinted she'd like a little tea pot hanging and she just had a birthday.
I remembered this little tea pot I made during a quilt along last year, from a pattern by Kristie at Quiet Play.  I added borders and a little embroidery.  (The little saying is from this cute blog, Patchwork Pottery --go look because hers is cuter than mine.)
I just realized Kristie is doing a new monthly quilt along with these zoo animals.  Each pattern is free for one month.  They are so cute!  I can't wait to get started on the flamingo, which is January's block here.

The snowman blocks are just square in a square blocks
(white is 7" square and colored triangles are 5 1/2" squares, cut in half diagonally once)
but it's cute that the top and bottom triangles become little pointy hats and scarfs!  It would be darling to add a white pom pom to each corner!

Thanks for stopping by!

What beautiful gifts!
The saying is perfect for your teapot!
And the Snowman pillow is adorable!!
The curves in the stuffing make the snowmen look rounded! This is a cute pattern!!
